In 2004 Tim and Jane Rocke started to explore how they might best support Francis Dognon, at that time a pastor in a large Parisien church, as he and his family left Paris to plant a new church in Lisieux, Normandy. Rather to everyone’s surprise, not least their own, Tim and Jane began to feel that they and their family should be coming out to Normandy to join Francis in the church plant. During the course of 2005 Tim left his job in London, where he had been a partner with Ernst & Young, the children (Hannah, William, James and John) left their schools and together the family moved from Haslemere, Surrey (where they were part of St Stephens church, http://www.shottermillparish.org.uk/index.html), across to Normandy.
Since moving to France the family has got a little bigger with the addition of Esther Grace, who was born on 5th August 2007. They would love you to come and see them in their new home and perhaps hear more of their story.
Tim and Jane are part of the leadership team of Eglise Baptiste de la Source (http://www.eglisedelasource.blogspot.com/), Lisieux. They are also part of the leadership team for Jour J Normandie (http://jour-j-normandie.fr/) an association which promotes and organises ecumenical worship events across Normandy.
